Viking Robotics finished 15th out of 21 teams, and was not chosen to be on any of the top 4 alliances. There were only 4 alliances due to the limited amount of teams that attended, and possibly due to time constraints. The first few matches were more like test runs, where we flipped over while going over the bump, and kept getting balls stuck under the chassis for some reason. Later, we scored 8 points in a single match! Very special thanks to Sean from Team 25 Raider Robotix for helping us out by giving us great strategy advice as a coach, helping with repairs, and even making a basic ball 'roller' system out of PVC pipe to control balls much better!

Teams 25 Raider Robotix, 341 Miss Daisy, and 1989 Viking Robotics were the winners of the Pensylvania Robot Challange XIII, an off-season FRC event held at the Tunkhannock Area High School in Tunkhannock, PA.

Heavy defense from 1989, along with 341's long range kicking, and 25's vertical hanger were just enough to defeat teams 303, 2607, and 222 after 4 final matches.

Some of our solenoids decided to break, causing us to lose our pneumatic kicker and cripple our lifter. Thanks to team 25 for picking us to join their alliance. Also, thanks to 341 for letting us borrow some of their batteries, and use their pit area to do quick repairs.

We're attending PARC, the Pennsylvania Robot Challenge XIII, on May 8th, 2010! Hosted by Team 222, teams from around the area will play Breakaway once again in this off-season competition.
